How old is Capital Associates and what services do you provide?
Capital Associates began in 1983 as a full-service commercial real estate company. From offices in the Triangle area of North Carolina; Greensboro, North Carolina; and Northern Virginia, we provide a full complement of commercial real estate services, including land development, building development, brokerage, property management, and consulting services. We welcome opportunities to develop properties in other regions, and have developed properties in Florida and Texas.
Does Capital Associates have the personnel to deliver what I need?
With over 45 highly professional personnel, we have the capacity to deliver. Our management personnel have been with Capital Associates for an average of over 16 years; our other personnel average over 8 years. Our many years of working together and our diverse educations and backgrounds will benefit you like no other company.
Can Capital Associates help me develop my land?
Yes, we have extensive experience partnering with land owners to turn raw land into multi-use business parks and residential subdivisions. This work typically involves governmental entitlements, infrastructure and landscape design, financing, and construction of "horizontal" improvements. Depending on the location and specific uses, we will either use our in-house marketing and sales team, or hire a specialized brokerage firm to sell lots. We can even joint-venture the development of buildings on such property.
As a business owner or manager, why do I need Capital Associates to develop a building?
Developing a building is a grandiose and lengthy undertaking that requires a great deal of experience and expertise. Capital Associates will manage the entire process as needed, including governmental entitlements, design, financing, and construction. We will act on your behalf with your interests first and foremost. We will save time and money for you, and help you avoid mistakes. Unless you have in-house personnel with strong development experience, simply hiring an architect and contractor is not enough.

Capital Associates has extensive experience developing numerous types of buildings. We have developed numerous medical office buildings, including many spaces requiring certification by the State. We have also developed many specialized build-to-suit facilities, including laboratories and reservation centers. We have even developed rental apartments and for-sale luxury townhomes.
Does Capital Associates provide development services on a fee basis?
Yes, we have developed numerous buildings on a "turn-key" basis for a fee. We will customize our services and fee structure based on the requirements of the project and your preferences. We can even guarantee the price and schedule. We can also include incentives to encourage savings in time and money.
Does Capital Associates own buildings with user-occupants?
Yes, we can partner with you and can acquire or develop a building to suit your needs. Many companies, including some healthcare providers, prefer this structure. We will provide our real estate expertise and share in the risks. We can obtain needed financing. We will structure an agreement to help you achieve your building and investment objectives.

We have even placed our employees inside corporate facilities, providing property management services on a contract basis.
